Anquan is a retired professional athlete, philanthropist, and social justice change-maker.
He played 14 years in the National Football League (NFL), ranking 4th for Active Receiving Yards and 5th for Active Receiving Touchdowns. Prior to his time with the Detroit Lions (2016—2017), he played with the San Francisco 49ers (2013—2015), the Baltimore Ravens (2010—2012), and the Arizona Cardinals (2003—2009).
Anquan played in two Super Bowls, winning it in 2012 with the Baltimore Ravens. He is the fastest player to record 600 career receptions, the third fastest to record 700 career receptions, and the fifth-fastest NFL player ever to gain 7,000 receiving yards. He has tallied five 1,000 yard seasons, is a member of the 1,000 catches club, and has made three career Pro-Bowl appearances.
Anquan is a co-founder of The Players Coalition, an organization dedicated to making an impact on social justice and racial equality.
He and his wife, Dionne Boldin, are co-founders of the Anquan Boldin Foundation, also known as Q81, which was established in 2004 to expand the educational and life opportunities of underprivileged children.
